HEAD OF PHARMACY

Job Description

A renowned private medical center is seeking to fill the position of Head of Pharmacy. The Head of Pharmacy provides strategic and operational leadership for the medical center’s Pharmacy Department, ensuring safe, effective, patient-centered, and commercially sustainable pharmaceutical services. The role oversees outpatient, inpatient, walk-in and medicine delivery operations, while strengthening regulatory compliance, stock integrity, medication safety, service quality, team performance and pharmacy growth.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the Pharmacy Department in delivering safe, efficient, patient-centered and commercially sustainable services across outpatient, inpatient, walk-in and medicine delivery operations.
2. Drive service improvement, revenue growth, cost control and operational efficiency in line with the center’s strategic objectives.
3. Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, professional standards, licensing requirements and internal quality systems.
4. Supervise, coach and develop pharmacy and support staff, ensuring adequate coverage, accountability and service excellence.

Qualifications
1. Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
2. Licensed and in good standing with the Pharmacy Council.
Experience
1. Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive pharmacy experience.
2. Minimum of 1–2 years in a supervisory or management role.
3. Experience leading teams and implementing operational improvements.
4. Experience in inventory management and supply chain oversight
