HEALTH AND SAFETY ADVISOR

The Role:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             This vital position supports our Health and Safety Management system, driving infield initiatives and ensuring strict adherence to health and safety legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional H&S advice to site teams and contractors.
• Monitor and drive continuous improvement for the Namdini operations.
• Review incident investigations, facilitate near-miss reporting, and conduct risk assessments.
• Conduct project inductions for new starters across operations and exploration.

Requirement:

•  Education: Degree in Health and Safety Management, Engineering, or Physical Sciences.
• Certifications: Must have an HSE Officer’s certificate of competence from the Minerals Commission. NEBOSH International Certificate is also required.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in the extractive and/or Mine Construction industry.
• Knowledge: Sound understanding of Ghanaian mining safety laws and ISO 45001:2018 systems.
• Requirements: Valid Ghana DVLA License (Category B) with at least 2 years of driving experience.
