Job Description:
A Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment in homes, hotels, hospitals, offices, or other facilities. The role involves performing general cleaning, managing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are consistently met.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean rooms, offices, hallways, and common areas according to schedules.
  • Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces and equipment.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards to prevent contamination.
  • Report maintenance issues or damage to supervisors for timely resolution.
  • Organize and maintain storage areas, laundry services, and waste disposal.
  • Assist with special cleaning tasks during events or inspections.


Requirements:

  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
  • Physical stamina to handle cleaning tasks, lifting, and long periods of standing.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to hygiene and safety.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in teams.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients or residents.
