JOB ROLE:
To ensure workplace compliance with safety regulations, policies, and procedures to prevent incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide HSE Assistants and Labor Contractors.
- Respond to HSE incidents and emergencies and prepare the preliminary incident reports.
- Implement corrective actions regarding violations, incidents, and near misses.
- Lead risk assessments and control high-risk activities (hot work, confined space, lifting, LOTO).
- Implement corrective actions after incident investigation.
- Ensure compliance with laid out HSE procedures and policies.
- Monitor the state of open actions and follow up with owners.
- Oversee environmental monitoring activities.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and fire drills.
- Promote initiatives to enhance the HSE culture among all factory personnel.
- Implement feedback mechanisms to increase employee engagement in HSE.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
05 years and above in Manufacturing Environment as HSE Personnel
QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or
- Professional certification in Occupational Health and Safety i.e., NEBOSH / OSHA
- Advance training in Hazardous material handling and emergency response
- Certification in First Aid Administration
