HSEQ MANAGER

 What the job involves
1. Safety & compliance: Create and run health, safety, security, environment & quality (HSSEQ) rules to make sure the company follows all laws and has zero accidents.
2. Risk management: Identify risks, do assessments, and organize audits to keep the risk register up‑to‑date.
3. Environment & audits: Handle environmental rules, do audits, and fix any problems that come up with environmental plans.
4. Data & incidents: Look at safety data, investigate accidents, and report to regulators when needed.
5. Training & budget: Design safety training programs, manage the HSSEQ budget, and supervise the team’s work.
6. Teaching: Give NEBOSH and other safety courses.

What they want in a candidate
1. A university degree in engineering, occupational health & safety, environmental science, or a related field.
2. Professional certificates like NEBOSH, OSHA, or ISO Lead Auditor.
3. At least 10 years of work experience, with 5–7 years specifically managing HSEQ in oil & gas or a similar industry.
4. Good knowledge of standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, ISO 45001, ISO 22000, and Ghana’s HSE rules.
5. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical abilities.
