HSEQ SYSTEMS OFFICER

 Job Purpose
Pasico Ghana Limited is seeking to employ a detail-oriented, experienced and proactive person as HSEQ Systems Officer to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards and maintaining robust management systems aligned with international best practices.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will:
- Maintain and update HSEQ documentation and records in compliance with ISO standards.
- Ensure implementation of applicable legislative requirements and company HSEQ policies.
- Act as a resource for training, SOP development, and internal audits aligned with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001.
- Conduct internal audits and communicate findings and ensure timely closure of non-conformances.
- Administer document control systems and train relevant personnel.
- Support risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Assist in preparation for certification audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

 QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum: Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or equivalent.
- Certifications such as ISO Internal Auditor, NEBOSH, or IOSH are an advantage.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Strong organizational and document management skills.
- Ability to analyze safety and quality performance data and conduct root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
