Job Summary:
Petrotrade (Private) Limited seeks a highly qualified ICT Officer - Systems Programmer to design, develop, test, and maintain system-level software and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, test, and maintain complex computer systems
- Install and configure new hardware, software, and operating systems
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades
- Identify and resolve software, hardware, and network issues
- Monitor systems for performance and security
- Automate routine tasks and develop security protocols
- Oversee technical projects and ensure system harmony
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified, Red Hat Certified) an advantage
- Minimum 5 years' experience in systems programming, software development, or IT support
- Strong background in programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python)
- Experience with operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix) and databases (SQL, Oracle, MySQL)
