Internal Audit Officer

About the Role: We are seeking a meticulous and professional Internal Audit Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in safeguarding the hotel’s assets, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and promoting accountability across all departments including Finance, Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Operations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Conduct risk-based internal audits across hotel operations, financial systems, and compliance activities. 

• Review internal controls to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with company policies and industry standards. 

• Monitor revenue collection, cash handling, inventory management, and procurement processes to prevent losses and fraud.

• Evaluate adherence to hospitality regulations, labor laws, and safety requirements.

• Identify control weaknesses, recommend improvements, and follow up on corrective actions. 

• Prepare timely and accurate audit reports for management. 

• Support management in promoting a culture of transparency, accountability, and compliance throughout the hotel. Qualifications and Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field. 

• Professional qualifications such as CIA, ACCA, CA • At least 3–5 years’ work experience in auditing, preferably in the hospitality, tourism, or service industry. 

• Strong knowledge of auditing principles, internal controls, and risk management. 

• Good understanding of hotel operations (Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, Procurement, etc.) is desirable. 

• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail. • Excellent communication, analytical, and reporting skills. 

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 

2. Transport Officer/Driver About the Role: We are looking for a responsible and experienced Transport Officer/Driver to join our team. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the hotel’s transport operations, ensuring safe and efficient movement of guests, staff, and logistics while maintaining vehicles in excellent condition. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise transport team, safely drive guests, staff, and executives to designated destinations in a timely and courteous manner. 

• Coordinate and manage the hotel’s transport operations including scheduling, routing, and allocation of vehicles. 

• Ensure all hotel vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, and kept in roadworthy condition. 

• Monitor fuel usage, mileage, and prepare regular transport reports for management. 

• Maintain accurate records of vehicle documents (insurance, roadworthy certificates, licenses). 

• Assist in receiving and delivering hotel supplies, parcels, and other logistical needs. 

• Ensure compliance with traffic regulations, safety standards, and company policies. 

• Provide excellent customer service and represent the hotel in a professional manner.

 Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of Degree/HND or Diploma in Mechanical engineering. 

• Valid Driver’s License (minimum Class C or equivalent). 

• At least 3–5 years of professional driving experience, preferably in the hospitality or corporate sector. 

• Knowledge of transport management, vehicle maintenance, and basic mechanics is an advantage. 

• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws. • Excellent driving skills, punctuality, and reliability. 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills. 

• High level of integrity, discipline, and confidentiality.
