Are you a meticulous and certified Internal Auditor dedicated to financial integrity and operational excellence? We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team at Contec Global Group. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our assets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing our internal control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit Execution:Plan and execute comprehensive internal audits to assess the effectiveness of financial controls, risk management, and operational processes.
- Compliance & Risk Management:Ensure company adherence to Nigerian laws, regulations, and internal policies. Conduct risk assessments and evaluate internal control systems to detect discrepancies and potential fraud.
- Reporting & Analysis:Prepare detailed audit reports with independent, objective assessments and actionable recommendations for improvement. Present findings to management and stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:Partner with cross-functional teams and external auditors to develop risk management strategies and ensure successful statutory audits.
- Continuous Improvement:Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and remedial actions. Stay current with industry regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
- Professional certification (CA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- 5-7 years of proven experience in internal auditing.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in audit management software, data analysis tools, and MS Office.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Impeccable ethical standards and a commitment to confidentiality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
