IT LEAD

We are seeking an innovative IT Lead who will be leading technology strategy, execution, and operations in our Fin-Tech company. The ideal candidate will focus on developing in-house skillsets and managing key vendor relationships. The IT Lead will be a champion for defining, scaling, and operating processes as well as project management.
 
Key Responsibilities

•  Responsible for the IT Unit 
•  Responsible for all IT Projects from inception to deployment and support  
•  Document and maintain APIs and SDKs 
•  Build and optimize deployment processes. 
•  Develop key performance indicators and SLAs 
•  Develop policies for internal IT operations to drive attainment of SLAs 
•  Define enterprise architecture in conjunction with current and future requirements 
•  Manage and support the delivery of software, hardware and network infrastructure operations 
•  Setup and maintain data warehousing services. 
•  Setup and maintain monitoring services 
•  Enable process efficiency of both back and front office operations 
•  Identify key skills and talent gaps in the IT Unit and work to recruit, train and retain talent 
•  Assign IT projects and ensure timelines are met. 

 
Qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field. Master’s degree will be an advantage.
• At least 7+ years of professional experience as a software engineer. 
• A track record of delivering mission critical applications. 
• Experience building APIs and SDKs. 
• Proven to wear many hats, technical and operational. 
• Attention to detail. 
• Experience in banking and finance / Fintech domain a plus 
• Great leadership skills. Should have at least 3 years leadership experience 
• Good team player with good communication skills 

 
Technical Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience building applications In Java SE.
• Experience working with Maven.
• Can write and consume SOAP APIs, REST APIs. 
• 3-5 years’ experience with any of the following. 
• a)     Flutter
• b)     JavaScript / Typescript / Next.js 
• c)     PHP / Laravel 
• d)     MySQL 
• e)     Azure 
• f)      Vue JS 
• g)     Python 
• Ability to use version control (GIT) 
• Can write clear and concise Unit, End-To-End and Integration Tests 
• Ability to set up CI/CD Pipelines 
• Experience with data warehousing solutions
