Job Overview:
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic High School is seeking a qualified and experienced Laboratory Technician to support the science department. The ideal candidate will manage laboratory equipment, assist in science experiments, and ensure compliance with safety and safeguarding procedures. This role requires technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with teachers and high school students.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and manage the use of laboratory equipment and materials by teachers and students across all science subjects.
• Ensure laboratories are maintained in a safe, clean, and organized manner.
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance of laboratory devices and instruments.
• Support science teachers during practical lessons and experiments.
• Adhere to safeguarding measures and ensure a safe learning environment for students.
• Assist in ordering and inventory management of laboratory supplies.
• Provide guidance to students on proper use of laboratory equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Relevant diploma in a science-related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a learning institution, preferably with high school students.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and safeguarding procedures.
• Ability to repair and maintain basic laboratory devices.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a school environment is an added advantage.
