Role Overview:
As a Logistics Intern, you'll support the logistics or supply chain team in managing the movement of goods, optimizing processes, and ensuring timely delivery. It’s a great stepping stone into careers in operations, procurement, or supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Assist in tracking stock levels, updating databases, and reconciling discrepancies.
- Order Processing: Help with order entry, shipment tracking, and coordination with vendors or carriers.
- Documentation: Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and customs paperwork.
- Data Analysis: Analyze delivery performance, costs, and logistics KPIs.
- Warehouse Support: Participate in audits, labeling, and organizing inventory.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and suggest ways to streamline operations.
Requirements and Duties:
* Studying towards a diploma in logistics and supply chain, customs legislation or any related field
* Eager to learn and energetic
* Expense and invoice capturing for trucks in the Quick books system
* Consignment and shipment tracking
