Job Description / Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients referred to physiotherapy; organise and implement individualized therapeutic programs and monitor patient’s progress and responses to treatment.
- The role requires applying clinical knowledge relevant to their area of practice, understanding anatomy, physiology, evidence-based practices, and physiotherapy for service users across lifespan.
- Hands-on physiotherapy across a wide range of conditions including musculoskeletal, neurological, post-operative, and complex rehabilitation cases.
- Set patient-centered goals and work collaboratively with patients, caregivers, and other members of the clinical team to achieve outcomes.
- Continuously adjust and develop treatment plans based on patient response.
- Use outcome-measures and evidence-based practice to track progress and maintain high clinical standards.
- Educate patients and families on therapy, post-treatment care, injury prevention, strategies for maintaining mobility and wellness.
- Ensure documentation, billing, reporting comply with internal and external healthcare regulations.
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement, supporting junior staff or students.
