QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field
- 2–3 years experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and supply chain principles
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications
- Understanding of local and international sourcing
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that support organizational goals
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and service
- Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with approved budgets
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve best value
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery, quality, or pricing issues
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations
- Coordinate with finance, operations, and inventory teams to forecast purchasing needs
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
