As a Procurement Officer at Andster Engineering, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient procurement of goods and services to support our operations. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process from sourcing suppliers to negotiating contracts and monitoring supplier performance. Your attention to detail, negotiation skills, and ability to build strong relationships with suppliers will be essential to your success in this role.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2. Proven experience as a procurement officer, purchasing agent, or similar role.
3. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
6. Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
7. Knowledge of procurement best practices, contract law, and relevant regulations.
