JOB DESCRIPTION
Role Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will be required to:
- Project Management: Develop and implement project management processes, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Quality Control: Manage the Project Quality Plan, coordinating all project specifications, drawings, inspections, tests, and commissioning plans.
- Communication: Lead and motivate the project team, establishing a communication plan to keep all stakeholders informed of project status, risks, and opportunities.
- Risk Management: Define and manage project scope, identifying and managing risks and opportunities to achieve project success criteria.
- Sales & Operations Planning: Ensure projects in the sales pipeline are defined and planned for successful execution.
- Health & Safety: Demonstrate a proactive risk-based approach to EHS, with experience in formal training programs and on-the-job supervision.
- Resource Management: Manage materials, manpower, and subcontractors, ensuring timely and accurate scheduling in line with the project schedule.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement through structured project reviews, coaching, and mentoring the project management team.
Requirements for the Role
To succeed in the role, you will be/will have:
- Educated to degree level /equivalent in Project Management, Civil, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in Project Management.
Industry / Certifications and Professional Body Membership;
- Ghana Institute of Engineers, PMI and related professional bodies
