Role: Public Relations Officer
Job description;
Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance the organization’s visibility and reputation.
Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
Draft and distribute press releases, newsletters, speeches, and promotional materials.
Organize and manage press conferences, events, and public appearances.
Monitor media coverage and prepare regular PR reports.
Respond to inquiries from the media, stakeholders, and the public.
Manage crisis communications and ensure timely, transparent information sharing.
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to align PR activities with company goals.
Maintain and update the company’s social media platforms and website content.
Monitor public opinion and advise management on communication strategies.
Qualification;
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Required Skills;
Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Knowledge of digital media and social media management.
Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills.
