QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER

Description
The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, functionality, and performance of the Bank's digital products and technology platforms.
The role will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to identify defects, improve user experiences, and support the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Testing:
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Validate product features against business and technical requirements.
Identify, document, and track software defects.

Product Quality Management:
Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
Ensure all releases meet quality standards before deployment.
Verify bug fixes and enhancements.

Automation Testing:
Support the implementation and maintenance of automated testing frameworks.
Develop and execute automated test scripts where applicable.
Improve testing efficiency through automation.

Performance & User Experience Testing:
Conduct performance, usability, and compatibility testing.
Evaluate system behavior under different scenarios.
Ensure a seamless customer experience across digital channels.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
3 - 5 years' experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
Experience testing web and mobile applications.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with automation testing tools.
API testing experience.
Understanding of digital banking or fintech products.
SQL and database testing knowledge.

Salary
N350,000 - N500,000 monthly.
