Job Description:
The Safety Officer will develop, implement, and monitor safety programs to prevent accidents and injuries. They will conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and safety drills while promoting a culture of health and safety awareness among staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement workplace safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard analyses.
• Lead toolbox talks and employee safety training sessions.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; document findings.
• Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain safety records and prepare regular reports for management.
• Liaise with government agencies and ensure compliance with OHS laws.
