JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking smart, energetic, and customer-focused Shop Attendants to join our fast-growing retail team. The ideal candidates must be proactive, well-spoken, and committed to delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Shop Attendant, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the shop, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for customers. You must be attentive, honest, and able to work under minimal supervision while meeting sales and service expectations.
This role requires discipline, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet customers warmly and attend to their needs professionally
- Assist customers with product selection and provide accurate information
- Ensure shelves are well-stocked, neatly arranged, and properly priced
- Handle cash, POS transactions, and sales records accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the shop at all times
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or damages promptly
- Prevent theft, loss, and damage of shop items
- Meet daily sales targets and performance expectations
- Open and close the shop as scheduled
REQUIREMENTS
- Must reside in East Legon, Cantonments, or Spintex (this is mandatory)
- Previous experience as a shop attendant or sales assistant is an advantage
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Honest, punctual, and hardworking
- Ability to work long hours, weekends, and holidays when required
- Well-presented with a positive attitude
