SITE ENGINEER

Site Engineer is a generic title for someone who is responsible for all aspects of the development of the project on site. He could be an architect, engineer (civil or structural), or a builder. The Site Manager will oversee and coordinate building construction projects on the site. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery. Other responsibilities that will help to achieve this include:

Responsibilities:
* Overseeing and coordinating building construction project on the site using various methodology.
* Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
* Coordinating and managing site personnel, including contractors, subcontractors, and labourers.
* Monitoring and providing a weekly report on the project progress, costs, and quality, including tracking progress against project schedules and budgets.
* Communicating with clients, stakeholders, and team members, including architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, and project managers.
* Ensuring site safety and implementing site-specific safety plan.
* Managing site logistics, including materials, equipment, and waste management.
* Collaborating with other departments to ensure effective project delivery.


Below are the minimum requirements:
* Architect must possess HND, B. Sc. or M.Sc.
* Engineer must possess HND, or B.Sc.
* Builder must possess HND, or B.Sc.
* The candidate should have at least 10 years’ experience as a contractor’s Site Engineer, during which he must have managed by himself at least 2 projects each of minimum 3,000m2 gross building floor area - Crucial.
* He must have managed by himself a project of at least 7 floors each from foundation to handover.
* He must have a total understanding of all the technical details of each building trade in the building construction process - Crucial.
* He should be very honest, and transparent.
* He must be able to meet tight deadlines.
* Must have a good command of spoken and written English
