SITE MANAGER/SUPERVISOR

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
BSc Construction Technology and Management, HND Construction Technician Courses (II & III) or similar professional qualifications

WORKS EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years' work experience in the building construction industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF SITE MANAGER:
1. Develop and/or implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to keep projects on track.
2. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and material availability.
3. Monitor progress against schedules and adjust as needed to manage delays or unforeseen problems.
4. Enforce health and safety regulations, conduct regular inspections, and ensure all workers follow protocols to prevent accidents whiles maintaining compliance with building codes, environmental standards, and legal requirements throughout the project.
5. Supervise and lead on-site teams, including assigning tasks, conducting performance reviews, and providing guidance or training as required.
6. Prepare reports on project status, including progress updates, risks or changes.
7. Inspect work quality to ensure it meets specifications and industry standards.
8. Identity and resolve on-site issues, such as equipment failures or supply shortages, to minimize disruptions etc.
