We're a leading manufacturing company looking for a motivated and analytical individual to join our dynamic team. A recent graduate who studied Procurement, Supply Chain Management/Management Information Systems, or a related field.
About the Role:
As a Stock Control intern, you'll get hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll be a key part of our team, helping us optimize our stock processes. Your responsibilities will include:
Sourcing and supplier management: Assisting in identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers to ensure a steady supply of high-quality raw materials.
Inventory control: Collaborating with our production team to manage inventory levels and prevent stock outs or overstocking.
Data analysis: Using data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and reduce costs across the supply chain.
Logistics coordination: Working with our logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
What We're Looking For:
A Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics/ Management Information System, or a similar discipline.
A strong understanding of supply chain principles and procurement best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of ERP systems (like SAP or Oracle) is a plus.
Great communication and teamwork skills.
