Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Student Success Associate to join our team in Accra. The Student Success Associate will play a vital role in ensuring that our learners have a smooth, engaging, and rewarding experience throughout their learning journey. This hybrid role combines remote and in-person responsibilities, supporting our mission to empower learners with the tools, guidance, and confidence to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for students, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly.
  • Support onboarding of new students, ensuring they understand learning platforms, schedules, and program expectations.
  • Track student progress and engagement, providing timely check-ins, reminders, and encouragement.
  • Collaborate with instructors and mentors to resolve student challenges and enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Organize and support virtual and in-person community-building activities, workshops, and events.
  • Collect and analyze student feedback to drive continuous improvement in program delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of student interactions, progress, and outcomes.
  • Assist in building career support initiatives (CV reviews, LinkedIn optimization, interview prep).
  • Use productivity and automation tools (e.g., Notion, Zapier, Canva) to streamline student communications and engagement.
  • Apply generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to enhance learning support, knowledge management, and content creation.
  • Contribute to FestMan’s mission of building a strong learner community and alumni network.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Social Sciences, Communications, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in student support, customer success, community management, or related roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Empathy, patience, and passion for helping others succeed.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms and online collaboration tools (Teams, Google Workspace, etc.).
  • Proficiency with Notion, Canva, Zapier, and experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in edtech, training, or talent development is a plus.
