Vendor Development Manager

Job Summary
Patel Enterprises is seeking a skilled Vendor Development Manager to lead vendor sourcing, onboarding, and tender management for government medical procurement. The ideal candidate should have experience with platforms like GeM, CPPP, and state e-procurement portals, and a good understanding of public healthcare tender processes.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze tenders on GeM, TSMSIDC, HLL, TNMSC, etc.

Onboard and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers

Manage tender applications, submissions, and bid follow-ups

Maintain product listings, pricing, and stock updates on the GeM portal

Ensure timely documentation and order coordination

Track tender status and maintain accurate records

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Pharma, Life Sciences, or related field

2–4 years’ experience in tendering, vendor development, or government procurement

Knowledge of medical products, GeM portal, and e-procurement platforms

Strong communication, negotiation, and documentation skills

Proficient in MS Excel, tender portals, and online tools
