Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support Clients on projects or ongoing support services, taking care of web administration activities using IIS, .NET framework and core technologies, Nginx, Apache, PHP, etc.
- Support and maintain cloud-based web applications by leveraging a deep understanding of cloud resources, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
- Analyze, identify, and implement automation and optimization opportunities to enhance system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency, leveraging Ansible, scripting (with PowerShell or Bash) and other automation technologies.
- Implement security best practices for web applications, including least privileged, CIS benchmark baselining, vulnerability management, etc.
- Draft technical documentation on web services, related procedures, and operations.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging cloud trends, and new technologies, assessing their potential for adoption or integration.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in systems administration (Linux or Windows) and Web Servers configuration and administration (Nginx, Apache or IIS).
- Knowledge of Web authentication mechanisms and security best practices for web applications.
- Experience with Cloud-Based services (IaaS & PaaS) in public or private cloud providers.
- Operation of CI/CD pipelines and git versioning systems.
- Hands-on experience on scripting and automation (PowerShell scripting, Bash, Go, Ansible, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting skills;
- Previous exposure to service management methodologies (ITIL).
