A leading General Insurance company is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Head of Information Technology. The successful candidate will manage and direct the company's information technology (IT) operations and provide the organization with efficient and effective technical support service.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead development and implementation processes for the organization's IT systems and department.
- Develop and implement business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss.
- Establish efficiency and efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvement of IT infrastructure.
- Analyze IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
- Oversee security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
- Facilitate IT security audits or investigations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Coordinate multisite IT systems via enterprise resource planning (ERP).
- Translate complex technical issues for non-technical stakeholders.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Management Information Systems (MIS) required; MBA or a Master of Science in IT Management/Technology Management is preferred.
- Industry-recognized certifications are vital.
- At least Fifteen (15) years of IT experience with Five (5) years managing an IT department.
