Job Purpose
Support the Quality Assurance Supervisor in ensuring the implementation of quality standards through supervision of testing, monitoring, and documentation processes. Conduct laboratory analyses, coordinate in-process inspections, and provide training and guidance to QA Inspectors to ensure continuous compliance and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

  1.  Coordinate daily quality assurance inspections and assign routine checks to QA Inspectors. 
  2.  Review and validate laboratory analysis results for raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure accuracy and compliance. 
  3.  Monitor production processes and collaborate with Production and Maintenance teams to address quality deviations promptly. 
  4.  Ensure proper documentation of all QA activities in line with GMP and company standards. 
  5.  Participate in root cause analyses and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. 
  6.  Assist the Quality Assurance Supervisor in conducting internal and supplier audits and follow up on agreed action points. 
  7.  Ensure compliance with ISO and customer-specific quality standards. 
  8.  Promote adherence to Glass Policy, GMP, hygiene standards, and workplace safety procedures. 
  9.  Carry out additional quality assurance tasks as assigned by the QA Supervisor or Manager. 
  10.  Prepare Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for customers based on product test results and batch information. 

Educational/Professional Qualification

  1.  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Science Laboratory Technology. 
  2.  Additional certification in Quality Assurance or Food Safety is an advantage. 

Required Skills

  1.  3–5 years’ experience in quality assurance or laboratory analysis in a manufacturing environment. 
  2.  Strong analytical and documentation skills. 
  3.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 
  4.  Knowledge of GMP and quality systems such as ISO 9001. 
  5.  Ability to guide and train junior QA staff. 
  6.  Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. 

Desirable Skills

  1.  Certification in ISO standards, HACCP, or related quality systems. 
  2.  Experience with customer audits or regulatory inspections. 
  3.  Basic leadership or supervisory training.
