We are looking for an exceptional Accountant with IFRS experience to help us ready the business.
The right candidate will have domain expertise and a passion for IFRS.
Key Responsibilities:
• Check and notify clients that are due for payment.
• Manage the payment schedule and prompt superiors when payments to vendors are due.
• Receive all payments (cash and cheques) for invoices generated and recorded accordingly.
• Keep record of all financial activities pertaining to the business including expenses, purchases and any others.
• Prepare daily and monthly reports to deliver timely and accurate information.
• Assist superiors with any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
• Have full responsibility for a part of the ledger processes relevant to your strengths.
• Assist with the year end audit process and statutory reporting.
• Improve the efficiency of financial processes and procedures and monitor compliance.
• Share knowledge between team members to ensure cover is available when needed.
• Actively develop your own skills to ensure current knowledge of applicable standards and regulations
• Establish strong relationships with key colleagues outside the wider finance team.
Other Competencies:
• Exceptional academic track record and subsequent career performance.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, ACMA, CPA, etc.)
• Lava BMS or similar enterprise grade systems experience and Excellent at Ms Excel.
Location: This role will require personnel around Taifa, Westlands, madina, Kwabenya, Achimota and its environs.
