Key Responsibilities
- Post monthly utilities journals.
- Issue monthly rent and CAM fees VAT invoices.
- Capture rent and CAM fees invoices into the accounting system.
- Monitor outstanding balances, issue payment reminders, and track collections.
- Issue daily system receipts for payments received from clients.
- Maintain up-to-date client account records in line with financial policies.
- Perform monthly receivables reconciliations to ensure accurate tenant balances.
- Process service supplier invoices for payment.
- Reconcile all supplier accounts on a monthly basis.
- Verify transaction documentation, contracts, and reports for compliance.
- Prepare statutory obligations for timely filing and payment.
- Post all month-end journals, including petty cash transactions.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.
- Organise and maintain financial records, both digital and physical.
- Ensure security of financial records and compliance with company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Support internal and year-end audits with well-organised and accurate records.
- Assist in annual budgeting.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years’ experience in a similar role (real estate experience is an advantage).
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software such as SAP or ERP systems.
- Good knowledge of accounts receivable, ledger management and collections follow‑up procedures.
- Understanding of financial regulations and documentation requirements.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills for internal and external interactions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
