KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess patients' medical history and evaluate their physical condition to determine suitable anesthesia plans.
- Administer general, regional or local anesthesia before surgical or diagnostic procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and responses during surgery and make necessary adjustments to anesthesia levels.
- Manage and maintain anesthesia equipment and ensure its readiness and functionality before use.
- Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor patients recovery in collaboration with nurses and surgeons.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Anesthesia, Medicine, or related field (Postgraduate training in Anesthesiology is an advantage).
- Valid medical license and registration with the relevant professional council.
- Minimum of 3 years working experience.
- Proficiency in the use of anesthesia machines and monitoring equipment.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, resuscitation, and pain management.
- Excellent decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure situations.
