Responsibilities:
The Associate Implementation Engineer role is responsible for configuring and customizing E2open’s Intelligent Application Suite in line with the E2open's direction and customers’ business needs. As an Associate Implementation Engineer, you will work under the direction of an Engineering Lead across the full SDLC including requirements gathering, solution design and development, user acceptance testing and solution implementation.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
Handle WMS-related issues (inbound, outbound, mutations)
Knowledge of Customs Documents and formalities (import, export, transit, presentation of goods to customs)
Basic knowledge of Dutch Customs (what is Customs, difference between bonded and non-bonded goods)
Understand the transition from AGS to DMS and the consequences
Knowledge about GPA (monthly end declaration)
Understanding of the Dutch harbour and logistics (understanding the logistics routes and the terms under which goods can travel)
Capacity for teamwork, analytical skills, creativity, and willingness to acquire new skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on project delivery, solution development and deployment as needed
Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
Excellent interpersonal & planning skills and cross-group coordination at all levels
Nice to have skills:
0-1 year of software development experience
Strong Java skills
Groovy, Python, SQL
Basic knowledge of Linux.
Understanding of SDLC.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
General office environment and responsibilities requiring:
Extensive use of the computer which involves viewing a monitor and keyboarding for most of the workday
Placing and receiving phone calls
May require occasional travel as needed
