This role aims to significantly increase revenue, sustain profitability, and optimize cost management strategies for overall business growth and success. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES: Operational Responsibilities: • Core Sales: Actively sell all company services to build volumes for the branch as per company targets. • Client Acquisition: Identify and acquire new commercial clients to expand the customer base. • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business. • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors. • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to win new business and increase revenue. • Lead Generation: Generate leads through methods like cold calling, networking, referrals, and marketing efforts. • Sales Presentation: Deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential clients. • Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to secure profitable deals. • Sales Reporting: Keep detailed records of sales activities and provide regular reports to management. • Client Feedback: Gather feedback from clients to improve products, services, and the sales process. • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues in marketing and customer support for a seamless customer experience. • Adaptability: Be adaptable and open to change in evolving market conditions and customer preferences. • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry best practices and product knowledge through training. • Ensure key account activities for A & B customers align with agreed KPIs. • Win, retain, and develop strategic customers. • Gather customers and market information for business unit updates on product trends. • Manage key customer relationships at the country level. • Create trade lane and sector-focused commercial strategies based on USPs and core competencies. • Upsell and cross-sell opportunities with existing customers to increase engagement. • Ensure timely submission of overseas and local RFI/RFP/RFQ by Pricing & Invoicing. • Implement customer processes for operational handover and meeting SLAs & SOPs. • Supervise branch activities and staff while monitoring and reducing branch running costs. • Maintain excellent communication with clientele and continuously prospect for new clients. • Coordinate renewals, licenses, and permits for the company. • Bill branch-related jobs, ensure timely payments, and respond to enquiries promptly. • Provide logistics support for shipments and visiting staff. • Maintain inventory of company assets and liabilities with scheduled reporting. • Ensure all branch activities comply with statutory regulations, company integrity, and HSE policy. • Keep daily records and provide weekly and monthly reports. • Obtain and circulate government and trade circulars promptly. • Perform any other duties as assigned by Management. Performance Management Responsibilities: • Ensure attendance of all relevant trainings. • Completion of relevant professional examinations. Strategic Responsibilities: • Financial Leadership: Take charge of price positioning for company services. Drive supplier negotiations for better buying terms and manage branch finances prudently for solid and profitable growth. • Relationship Management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with Nigeria Customs Service and government agencies to enhance loyalty and integrity perception. • Promotion and Education: Promote company and educate target audiences through the company's external newsletter. Work with Support Functions and Business Units to enhance branch value. • Performance Monitoring: Monitor productivity levels and analyze sales/operational results closely. Report findings and focus on operational excellence to drive financial and operational benefits, customer loyalty, and new revenue streams. • Employee Development: Invest in continuous learning and growth. Prioritize enhancing employee competencies, fostering the use of technology, and motivating staff to uphold integrity and accountability.
