Reports to Senior Mechanical Sales Engineer
ROLE SUMMARY
The Mechanical sales engineer is responsible for promoting and selling mechanical engineering
solutions and services to new and existing clients. This individual will leverage their technical expertise to
understand customer needs, develop customized solutions, and close sales deals.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
• Develop and present proposals to prospective clients.
• Offer technical advice and solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Collaborate with internal sales teams to develop custom solutions for clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure continuous business.
• Provide after-sales report to address customer concerns or issues.
• Work closely with engineering and supply chain teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
• Support marketing initiatives such as exhibitions and product demonstrations.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
• Prepare weekly reports on sales performance, call plan, visitation and market trends.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities and competitive threats.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients throughout the sales process.
