Role Summary:
We are seeking results-driven team leader with a passion for field sales and team development. As the Sales Supervisor, you will manage, coach, and drive a team of Sales Representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you'll be at the forefront of executing field strategies, optimizing route-to-market (RTM) activities, and building strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support a team of Sales Reps in hitting daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
* Execute RTM strategies via distributors and wholesalers.
* Coach, mentor, and develop your team in the field.
* Analyse sales performance data and provide insights.
* Drive coverage and productivity through our Sales Automation Program (GTM).
* Collaborate with Trade Marketing to ensure brand visibility and promotions.
* Handle customer/trade partner concerns.
* Report on market trends and competitor activity.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, or related field.
* 5-7 years in sales, including 3+ years in a leadership/supervisory role.
* Strong knowledge of field sales, RTM, and sales automation tools
* Excellent leadership, coaching, and analytical skills
* Industry experience in FMCG or B2B is a strong advantage.
* Valid driver's license.
* Familiarity with the Nairobi region and its market dynamics is an added advantage.
