Job Summary:
The Director/Deputy Director is a senior administrative role responsible for the strategic and operational management of a specific university directorate (e.g., Advanced Studies, Planning & Development, Administration, Finance, or Examinations).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the respective directorate in alignment with the university's vision.
  • Policy Implementation: Ensure compliance with university policies, government regulations, and HEC guidelines.
  • Resource Management: Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and financial management for the directorate.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of administrative and support staff.
  • Coordination: Liaise with other university departments, external agencies, and government bodies to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports to the Vice Chancellor and other statutory bodies.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Master’s degree (preferably 18 years of education) in a relevant field (e.g., Administration, Finance, Management, or a related discipline) from an HEC-recognized university.
  • For Director: Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in a senior administrative role.
  • For Deputy Director: Significant experience (typically 6+ years) in a relevant administrative capacity.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
