Role Summary

The Onboarding Officer will be responsible for managing the end-to-end client onboarding process, ensuring all client documentation and compliance requirements are completed accurately and efficiently. The role requires exceptional attention to detail and a strong understanding of customer due diligence and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the client onboarding process from initiation to activation.
  • Verify customer documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks.
  • Liaise with prospective clients to obtain required information and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate onboarding records and client databases.
  • Collaborate with compliance, operations, and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding.
  • Resolve onboarding-related queries and issues promptly.
  • Monitor onboarding performance and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in client onboarding, compliance, customer service, or financial services operations.
  • Strong understanding of KYC, AML, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer relationship skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
