Key Responsibilities
Coordinate board and committee activities, including the preparation of board packs, minutes, resolutions, action trackers, and governance documentation, while ensuring compliance with statutory and corporate governance requirements across the Group and its subsidiaries.
Manage the Executive Director's calendar, strategic priorities, meetings, and domestic and international travel arrangements, including logistics, visas, briefing materials, and stakeholder engagements.
Draft, review, and manage correspondence, reports, presentations, briefing notes, and communication materials for investors, financial institutions, government agencies, development finance institutions, and other key stakeholders.
Maintain secure and structured systems for managing confidential documents, contracts, financing agreements, regulatory correspondence, corporate records, and document execution processes, ensuring compliance, version control, and timely renewals.
Requirements
Essential:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Secretarial Studies, or related field
Minimum 7 years' experience as an Executive / Personal Assistant supporting C - suite or Board - level principals
Demonstrated experience managing confidential board, legal, or financial documents
Exceptional written and spoken English; professional French language proficiency required
Advanced Microsoft 365 proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Absolute discretion — references will be verified, vetting / bonding required
Desirable:
Knowledge of CAMA 2020 corporate governance requirements
Chartered Institute of Administration (CIA) or similar qualification
