Job Summary
AGM Inc. is seeking an Environmental Operator to support environmental management activities at its mining facility. The successful candidate will assist with environmental monitoring, waste management, site inspections, and the implementation of environmental protection procedures to minimise the impact of mining activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Support environmental monitoring and inspection activities.
• Assist with the collection of environmental samples as instructed.
• Monitor waste segregation, storage, and disposal practices.
• Help maintain drainage systems and identify potential contamination risks.
• Inspect work areas for environmental hazards and report concerns.
• Assist with spill prevention, containment, and cleanup activities.
• Maintain accurate environmental monitoring and inspection records.
• Support rehabilitation and environmental improvement initiatives.
• Follow the company’s environmental policies and applicable regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements
• A certificate, diploma, or relevant training in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in environmental operations or mining is beneficial.
• Knowledge of waste management and environmental protection practices.
• Good observation, reporting, and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work outdoors and in a mining environment.
• Strong commitment to environmental protection and workplace safety.
