About the Role
Bandwidth Global is an AI-powered startup helping small businesses across Africa manage bookkeeping, payroll, and compliance.
We are looking for a Product Operations & Requirements Manager to join the founding team and work directly with the Founders and CTO.
This is a hands-on, field-first role involving regular visits to customer businesses to understand their workflows and challenges and translate those insights into clear product requirements for the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
• Visit customer businesses and conduct interviews to understand their workflows.
• Identify customer pain points and opportunities for improvement.
• Translate customer needs into user stories, process flows, and product requirements.
• Document bugs and product issues.
• Work closely with engineering to ensure products solve real customer problems.
• Help build product discovery and delivery processes from the ground up.
• Gather and document business requirements.
Requirements
• At least 3 years of experience in product operations, business analysis, product management, or implementation.
• Experience gathering business requirements and writing user stories.
• Experience with Jira, GitHub, Linear, or similar tools.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Analytical and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Willingness to spend time in the field with customers.
Nice to Have
• Experience with accounting systems, POS, ERP, FinTech, payroll, or SME operations.
• Ability to speak Twi or another Ghanaian language is an advantage.
