Job Overview:
The French Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and effective French language instruction to students at various levels. This role promotes language proficiency, cultural awareness, and academic excellence through structured lessons, assessments, and interactive activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver French lessons aligned with curriculum standards
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom activities
- Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and oral evaluations
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Integrate cultural elements to enhance language learning
- Support students with additional tutoring or remedial sessions
- Participate in school events, language clubs, and academic meetings
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching strategies and outcomes
Qualification & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in subject area
* IB Experience distinct advantage
* IGCSE and A-level desirable
* A native speaker or near native speaker
* At least 3 years teaching experience
