Responsibilities:
-Lead and oversee all finance, accounting, and administration functions across the organization and subsidiaries
-Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives and board directives.
-Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management and Board of Directors
-Ensure compliance with IFRS, NFRS, Nigerian tax regulations, audit requirements, and internal control frameworks
-Identify, evaluate, and secure funding sources for projects.
-Lead the accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records and timely month end/ year-end closings
-Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury operations
-Implement and maintain robust internal controls and risk management procedures
-Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes, systems, and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
-Degree in Finance/ Accounting; MBA preferred
-Minimum 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience in real estate, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
-Proven track record of successfully securing and managing project financing for real estate developments.
-Demonstrated expertise in fund raising, including experience with bank financing, private equity, and institutional investors.
-Strong experience in real estate project accounting, valuation, and cost management
-Expert knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian Financial Reporting Standards (NFRS) compliance.
-Deep understanding of Nigerian tax regulations, Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA), and SEC requirements.
-Excellent understanding of project financing structures and real estate investment analysis.
-Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to explain complex financial concepts to diverse audiences
-Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
-Professional certification: ICAN, ACCA, ACA, or similar credential strongly preferred
-Ability to work effectively with banks, development finance institutions, and investor networks
-MBA with specialization in Finance
