The job holder is to design, lead, and enforce a robust internal audit and loss-prevention function across the restaurant group, with a primary focus on cash controls, POS integrity, inventory protection, and fraud prevention. This role owns policy, investigations, and reporting, and operates independently from daily operations.


Key Responsibilities


  • Design and implement internal audit and loss-prevention frameworks for all outlets
  • Own cash-handling policies, POS control standards, and inventory safeguards
  • Review weekly POS exception reports (voids, comps, discounts, refunds, variances)
  • Lead investigations into suspected theft, fraud, or control breaches
  • Conduct surprise audits (cash counts, stock counts, receiving checks)
  • Train managers and staff on audit controls and compliance expectations
  • Produce concise monthly risk and findings reports for leadership
  • Recommend corrective actions and monitor follow-through


Other Requirements

  • Education
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional qualification (CIA, ACCA, CPA, CFE, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.


Preferred Relevant Experience

  • 7–10 years’ experience in internal audit, loss prevention, finance, or hospitality controls.
  • Demonstrated experience with POS systems, multi-site restaurant operations, and fraud investigations.
  • Working knowledge of Ghanaian labour law, disciplinary procedures, and corporate governance expectations.
