Job summary

The Hospital Administrator is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, management, and strategic direction of the healthcare facility. The role ensures efficient service delivery, regulatory compliance, financial sustainability, and high-quality patient care through effective leadership, resource management, and coordination of hospital departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily hospital operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Coordinate activities across clinical, administrative, and support departments.
• Monitor hospital performance and implement improvement strategies.
• Prepare and manage hospital budgets and financial plans.
• Monitor revenue streams, expenditures, and financial performance.
• Ensure cost-effective use of resources and implement cost control measures.
• Supervise recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of staff.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and accreditation standards.
• Implement quality assurance programs to enhance patient safety and care standards.
• Participate in long-term planning and hospital development initiatives.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience in healthcare or hospital administration.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation requirements.
• Financial management and budgeting skills.
