Job Summary
The Investment Analyst – Pension Desk is responsible for supporting the management, administration, and investment of pension portfolios. This role involves pension fund mobilization, regulatory reporting, portfolio reconciliation, and investment execution support to ensure compliance and optimal fund performance.


 Key Responsibilities
1. Pension Fund Mobilization & Client Engagement
    - Drive active marketing initiatives to promote pension products and increase fund mobilization.
    - Support client onboarding and maintain strong relationships with pension contributors and institutional clients.

2. Portfolio Valuation Reports (PVRs)
    - Prepare, update, and maintain accurate Portfolio Valuation Reports (PVRs) for all pension funds.
    - Ensure timely and error‑free reporting in line with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

3. Regulatory Reporting
    - Prepare and submit monthly reports to the National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA).
    - Prepare and submit quarterly reports to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
    - Ensure full compliance with all regulatory guidelines and reporting timeliness.

4. Portfolio Reconciliation
    - Assist in the reconciliation of Private Wealth Management (PWM) and client accounts.
    - Investigate and resolve discrepancies in portfolio records and transaction items.

5. Investment Execution Support
    - Provide investment placement and fund allocation advice for pension portfolios and other funds.
    - Assist in shaping investment opportunities in line with approved mandate strategies.

6. Reporting & Quality Control
    - Assist in reviewing of internal reports before submission to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.


 Key Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in investment management, pensions, or financial services (preferred).
- Valid SEC license (mandatory).

 Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good understanding of pension fund administration and investment principles.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (NPRA & SEC).
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Growth in pension fund mobilization.
- Accuracy and timeliness of PVRs and regulatory reports.
- Efficiency of portfolio reconciliation processes.
- Compliance with NPRA and SEC requirements.
- Timeliness of reporting with zero material defects.
