LABORATORY SCIENTIST

Job Summary
The ideal candidate is an experienced, well organized Laboratory Scientist who has a deep understanding of Medical Laboratory Practice and well experienced in performing scientific testing and analyzing of samples and reporting of accurate results to Physicians for Diagnosis.

Responsibilities
Responsible for and Performs Quality control on Test results, ensuring validity and accuracy.
Performs roles of a Laboratory scientist
Communicates and Interacts with others in a professional and responsible manner
Must have thorough understanding of laboratory equipment and techniques
Ability to Interpret and analyze laboratory data.
Strong knowledge of Laboratory safety regulations
Processes, and handles blood and/or other biological specimens according to established procedures; instructs nurses in the proper collection of samples Performs Calibrations and troubleshooting on testing systems and instruments Lo ensure adherence to established standards of accuracy
Practices safety, environmental, and/or infection control methods.
Recording/ charting room Temperature, humidity and Refrigerators/Freezers.
Supervising workflow of Laboratory Department Employees.
Help in Selecting and Shortlisting applicants eligible for the Laboratory Depart-
Practices keen attention to details in Lab Testing and Results reporting

Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years experience in Medical Laboratory practice.
Bachelors Degree In Medical Laboratory Science.
Licensed under Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC) with a PIN
Professional verbal and written communication style
Knowledgeable in Laboratory Practice.
