Job Summary
Manage MTN Ghana’s litigation portfolio, ensuring effective resolution of legal disputes while protecting the company’s legal, financial and reputational interests.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute litigation strategies.
• Manage litigation matters from assessment through resolution.
• Assess and mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
• Manage external legal counsel and service providers.
• Handle court orders, subpoenas and regulatory requests.
• Lead or oversee internal investigations.
• Support regulatory enquiries and enforcement actions.
• Develop litigation policies, procedures and frameworks.
• Provide legal advice to business leaders and stakeholders.
• Maintain relationships with courts, regulators and government agencies.
Requirements
• Degree in Law.
• Professional Law Certificate from Ghana School of Law.
• Minimum 5 years’ litigation experience.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong negotiation and settlement experience.
• LLM is an advantage.
• Technology or business experience is an advantage.
