Job Overview:
The Marketing Lead is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This role oversees all marketing activities, manages a team, and ensures alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies across digital and traditional channels
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform campaigns
- Set KPIs and monitor performance metrics
- Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor marketing team members
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with sales, product, and design teams
- Manage external agencies and vendors
- Campaign Management
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches
- Oversee content creation, social media, email marketing, and advertising
- Ensure brand consistency across all platforms
- Digital Marketing
- Optimize SEO, SEM, and social media strategies
- Analyze web traffic and user engagement metrics
- Manage CRM tools and marketing automation platforms
- Budget & Reporting
- Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively
- Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports
- Present insights and recommendations to senior management
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and analytics platforms
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
- Creative thinking and strategic planning abilities
- Familiarity with Ghanaian market trends and consumer behavior
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in FMCG, tech, or service-based industries
- Certification in digital marketing (e.g., Google, HubSpot, CIM)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Strong network within media and advertising circles
