The successful candidate will join our team as an MFS B2B Executive in the Mobile Financial Services (MFS) Department. (S)He will report to the MFS B2B Manager and be responsible for achieving set targets for MFS in corporate revenue and customer acquisition. This will be achieved through onboarding and managing corporate customers, including SMEs, merchants, and all financial institutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop and onboard new merchants, including corporate/SME’s/Smartpay merchants.
  • Establish relevant metrics and measures to routinely monitor progress against targets and take appropriate action to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Develop a pipeline of prospects that are systematically qualified and manage the decision-making process within allocated accounts to ensure sales prospects are closed.
  • Ensure clients are invoiced by the agreed and approved amount and charges are paid at the end of every month.
  • Ensure client accounts remain active and generate revenue as per the proposed business.
  • Identify potential business avenues that are sustainable and revenue-generating.
  • Implement and assist with partner reporting and reconciliation consistently.
  • Conduct periodic assessment of the corporate customers for risks and highlight for corrective actions.
  • Closing of all relevant alarms to curb revenue loss.
  • Convert all AT Business clients/SMEs to adopt AT money to drive collections and payments.
  • Ensure integrated channel management is in place and track all sales activities.

 

Others:

 

  • Ability to work in a limited direction, including experience in planning, prioritizing, and organizing work for self and others to achieve goals and deadlines.

 

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Onboarding of new merchants
  • Increase footprints of Offline payment systems, i.e., Smart pay merchants
  • Merchant revenue targets



Required Qualification and Experience

  • A University degree in any field with emphasis on marketing, finance, accounting, or any related discipline.
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ sales /account management experience, preferably in B2B.
  • Business development experience and proven ability to develop strategic relationships.
  • Good presentation and people management skills
  • Good networking and communication skills
