What you will do
• Lead internal and external governance forums with customers and affiliates through effective dashboards and KPI management.
• Act as a senior escalation point for MFS and Mobile Money executive leadership teams.
• Ensure compliance with governance structures for demand management and managed services.
• Drive continuous improvements by initiating change programs and reinforcing adherence to Ericsson's global processes and tools.
• Own financial forecasting and performance tracking; review and approve OPEX for business development.
• Manage end-to-end delivery, operations, and sales for customers across the MEA region.
• Lead sales, program, and delivery execution, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and commitments.
• Champion delivery efficiency through process automation and Ericsson Wallet Platform capabilities.
• Provide comprehensive reporting on financial, delivery, and organizational performance.
• Build and maintain high-level customer relationships, including C-suite engagement (IT, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, etc.).
• Manage customer communications and represent Ericsson in key events and governance meetings.
• Mentor and support team members; build future leaders through coaching and talent recognition.
• Adapt working practices to regional customs while ensuring compliance with OHS and Ericsson Code of Conduct.
• Demonstrate leadership by promoting ethics, compliance, and inclusive workplace behaviors.
You will bring
• 15–20 years of leadership experience in telecom or ICT industries, preferably in delivery and operations roles.
• Proven experience in C-suite engagement and governance.
• Managed delivery projects and operations of $50M+ in value.
• Experience in multi-country programs across Africa, ideally from a CIO-level position.
• Solid knowledge of MFS business models, IT systems integration, and operational delivery.
• Practical, hands-on leadership in delivery execution and managed operations.
• Strong capability in resource planning, competency development, and team building.
• 10+ years of experience in complex IT, banking, or financial systems service delivery.
• Customer-centric, result-oriented mindset.
• Skilled in managing multicultural, cross-functional teams.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure and navigate ambiguity.
• Strong financial, commercial, and analytical acumen.
• Experience working across different delivery environments—scalable, complex, or evolving.
• Deep understanding of Ericsson’s business processes, delivery models, and financial operations is a strong plus.
• Excellent skills in negotiation, influence, and stakeholder management.
• Strong program management skills and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) best practices.
